British Business Awards
On November 2, 1800-2200 at the Hilton Tokyo, The BCCJ will host the British Business Awards 2023. The gala will celebrate excellence whilst showcasing success and innovation across all industries.
The application period for this year’s awards will run from August 1-October 2.
The 2023 BBA categories are as follows:
Company of the Year
Applicants are required to show excellence and innovation across their organisation in Japan, focusing on outstanding achievements in the past 12 months.

Company of the Year
Applicants are required to show excellence and innovation across their organisation in Japan, focusing on outstanding achievements in the past 12 months.

UK-Japan Partnership
Applicants should be joint ventures, alliances, or other partnerships that have made demonstrable contributions to the enhancement of the UK-Japan economic or commercial relationship over the past 12 months.

2020: The Alan Turning Institute & Toyota Mobility Foundation
UK-Japan Partnership
Applicants should be joint ventures, alliances, or other partnerships that have made demonstrable contributions to the enhancement of the UK-Japan economic or commercial relationship over the past 12 months.

Entrepreneur of the Year
Applicants should be individuals who exemplify entrepreneurialism and have created commercial success through an enterprising spirit. Applicants will typically be leading non-listed organisations in Japan with 25 employees or fewer.

British Business Awards 2023 application period will run between Aug 1-Oct 2.

In recent years, AstraZeneca made their stamp on the BBAs, by taking the Company of the Year award in 2020, Responsible Business award in 2021 and Digital-Technology and Innovation in 2022.
SMEs have also been recognised at the BBAs with BISU taking the 2020 Digital-Technology and Innovation award in 2020, Klein Dytham Architecture emphatically winning Company of the Year on 2021 and Global Perspectives being crowned as the Responsible Business champion last year.
