Brave Conversations, Positive Transformations | BCCJ Vision Project

t

On January 27, the BCCJ launched its vision project for 2022 and beyond at our Digi-Shinnenkai 2022. The project, titled Brave Conversations, Positive Transformations aims to engage BCCJ members in tackling the grand challenges faced by business and society.

UK-Japan relations received a boost with the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with Japan signed on 23 October 2020. This relationship will be further bolstered by the UK’s ascension to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), with the UK looking to secure membership by the end of this year.

2022 is a year where the UK and Japan will see more cross-industry collaborations than ever before take shape. As new working attitudes will continue to accelerate innovation and mindsets between the two nations, the BCCJ looks to place this new inclusive vision project at the heart of this positive change.

Bigger picture, BCCJ members are invited to get involved with Brave Conversations, Positive Transformations, enabling us to shape a more purpose-driven, human-centric society that helps drive modern workplace change in 2022 and beyond.

This initiative for 2022 will bring BCCJ members together, and place their business entiment at the forefront of change, shaping chamber pillars that are crucial for the future sustainable growth of business in Japan, the UK, and globally: Diversity Equity and Inclusion / Digital and Tech Innovation / and Responsible Business.
