Located centrally on the ground floor of the Inge Building next to the herb garden and playground, Dragon Dining offer a fresh, creative, nutritious and environmentally responsible approach to school food.

Understanding the important link between nutrition and student well-being, we follow the guidelines of the Children’s Food Trust and use the United Kingdom’s Soil Association’s Food For Life Gold Program as a benchmark for our own quality of service.

What We Do

Conferences

Plan your event with Dragon Dining. A variety of catering packages can be arranged, whether you choose to hold your event in one of the Sakura or Momiji conference rooms, Street Cafés or terrace. Choose from a finger buffet to a formal dinner or from a drinks reception with canapés to tea and coffee. From 10 people to 500, we can cater for your every requirement!

Out of hours event catering available! Talk to us about your after school and weekend events and we will come up with the food to match!

In addition to serving up healthy and nutritious food on quite the scale, Darren Prest (Chef/Director) also wears another hat as the chairman of the Royal Navy Association in Japan…

“As a member of the Royal Navy Association, we support visiting Naval ships to Japan helping ships company navigate Japan when they come ashore, the most recent ships being HMS Tamar and HMS Spey. Alongside this we support local charities throughout the year, ship visits and host and attend many events, the most recent being drinks at the Canadian Embassy hosted by the Canadian Attaché Rob Watt and a black tie event at YCAC for Burns Night.

Members do not need any military background, just an interest in the Royal Navy and their values. Our current members have backgrounds from the British Air Force, British Army, US Navy and Australian Navy, with ages ranging between 40yrs – 95yrs.

There is no subscription but we ask for a voluntary contribution which goes towards a chosen charity, Looking after visiting ships and keeping us together.
