Welcome to the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan (BCCJ) – a vibrant hub with a proven track record in connecting businesses, professionals, and entrepreneurs. Since the arrival of William Adams in 1600, the UK and Japan have had a long history of trade, and both being island nations, they share many common values. In recent years, bilateral relations have gone from strength to strength with the signing of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, the UK’s accession to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership and most recently, The Hiroshima Accord. By all means, it is an exciting time for business prospects in Japan.

Did you know that all BCCJ members can take advantage of the BCCJ Member-Gets-Member (MGM) scheme?

Introduce a new member company to the Chamber and, in return, you will receive 50% of the new member’s first annual membership fee.
