By the close of the British Business Awards 2024 (#BBA2024) nomination period, we recieved received 44 eligible nominations across six categories, showcasing a wide range of talent and innovation.

In the eagerly anticipated Company of the Year category, the following 6 companies are now in contention for the coveted trophy.

This year, we launched UK Japan Connect (UKJC), a new legal and business forum connecting people, culture and business in Japan and the UK. Through this initiative, we have driven engagement with government, trade and industry associations, and companies with the aim of further strengthening the excellent bilateral relationship between the two countries.

FGS Global, a strategic communications consultancy, proudly supports companies to succeed during pivotal moments, both in Japan and abroad. This year’s nomination is in recognition of a groundbreaking 12 months in which the company saw unprecedented growth, advising on some of the most significant M&A and corporate reputation challenges in Japan.

Laurus International School of Science

We would like to share our accomplishments in British international education in Tokyo and in our love of children. This includes moving into and growing our new location in Minato-ku, along with opening more of our preschools and kindergartens around Tokyo and Kanagawa. Our commitment to education and childcare is the reason for our existence.

PUSH Japan KK

PUSH continued to grow in Japan this year, with highlights including our first global integrated campaign (for a leading Japanese apparel brand), a MTV VMA-winning music video for Megan Thee Stallion, a viral Nike Air Max Day campaign with K-Pop stars XG, and exclusive content with Billie Eilish shot in Tokyo for Complex.
