PUSH Japan is an independent creative agency that specialises in culturally relevant brand marketing, as well as high-quality in-house film production. Co-founded at the start of 2020 by Tokyo-based Brit, Mike Sunda, with support from PUSH’s Shanghai entity, the Japan office battled through the challenges of the pandemic and now counts some of the world’s most iconic brands amongst their clients. Recent highlights include an Air Max Day 2024 campaign for Nike featuring K-Pop sensations “XG”, a 12-minute documentary on Polaroid’s groundbreaking new I-2 camera, and growing workwear brand Dickies’ social media following to over 100,000 people in Japan. The connections with Britain also shine through, with PUSH Japan shooting music videos for artists like Jacob Collier, Arlo Parks and Jeshi, as well as producing an award-winning fan activation for Manchester City FC during their 2023 pre-season tour. PUSH Japan was shortlisted for Campaign’s Independent Agency of the Year award in 2023, and is currently looking to partner with businesses on social media marketing and creative production scopes for the Japan market (and beyond!).
