Tour run in association with Fukushima Prefecture and the BCCJ 

This Autumn, BCCJ members are invited to enjoy a weekend trip while experiencing Fukushima’s rich history, cultural traditions and natural beauty! Walk the streets of an immaculately-preserved Edo period post-town deep within the mountains. Enjoy the chance to relax in a scenic onsen, and even peek into a family-run workshop where locally revered products have stood the test of time!

 

 

Fukushima Prefecture invites BCCJ members to join a breathtaking, exclusive 2-day tour. Meeting at Koriyama Station, only 80 minutes from Tokyo by Shinkansen, tour participants will visit the workplaces of local artisans and areas of great historical importance to Japan.

On top of offering a memorable experience, we will cover trip costs (see the application form for more details)! This is due to a long-standing relationship between the BCCJ and Fukushima prefecture.
