UK Trade Envoy to Japan, Greg Clark Talks with BCCJ Members

On March 16, the BCCJ welcomed the UK Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Japan, Greg Clark to the ANA InterContinental Tokyo to share his perspectives on the evolving UK-Japan relationship, as well as his current activities and priorities during his first visit to Japan in this role.

During his visit, Greg has been meeting with a wide range of partners engaged in the UK-Japan trading partnership, delivering key messages to Japanese government and corporate stakeholders about the UK’s commitment to Japan. He has also delivered speeches at the Japan Hydrogen Forum and Asset-Management Seminar, showcasing UK strengths in the key sectors of defence & security, decarbonisation, digitalisation and financial services, highlighting how Japan and the UK can form new long-lasting partnerships going forward.
