A Message from Sam Maddicott, Marketing and Communications Manager

'To start with a personal note having served at the Chamber for a number of years, it’s a pleasure to reconnect with the BCCJ and I invite all members to pop by for a locally roasted coffee should you find yourselves in Osaka.

We have a truly fantastic hotel in the heart of Osaka, and our team would be delighted to go above and beyond to support you, your company or, where possible, your clients.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to me or any member of our team using the directory.'

Canopy by Hilton Osaka Umeda

Opened in September 2024, Canopy by Hilton Osaka Umeda occupies a prime position within Grand Green Osaka, one of Japan's most exciting new urban developments. Just a seven-minute walk from JR Osaka Station, the hotel enjoys sweeping views across Umekita Park, the Osaka skyline and the Yodo River, placing guests at the heart of the city's newest commercial, cultural and green precinct.

As Hilton's first Canopy property in Japan, the hotel offers a vibrant base for curious travellers, business people and local guests alike. Inspired by Osaka's history, culture and famously energetic personality, guest rooms feature references to the city's waterways, the greenery of Umekita Park and Toyotomi Hideyoshi's sennari byōtan—or thousand gourds—emblem. Retro-inspired minibars and locally influenced artwork add further character.
