Artyz Inc. is a Tokyo-based international marketing and experience design company that helps brands build recognition, strengthen their market presence, and create meaningful connections with consumers. Through creative communications, strategic planning, and culturally informed execution, we support companies in growing their brand value while preserving the essence that makes each brand distinctive.

Founded in Tokyo in 2013, we have grown from a marketing firm into a broader creative and strategic partner. Our services now span marketing, event planning, new-market entry assistance, startup ecosystem design, the TryTry platform, and the Global Growth Triangle Program.

Our work in Tokyo centres on three connected strengths: marketing, event planning, and the development of our TryTry e-commerce platform. Marketing remains our core strength, supported by more than ten years of experience and a 98% client retention rate. We also take pride in our event planning team, which has contributed to major international projects, including the 2019 Rugby World Cup and Expo 2025 Osaka. Across every project, we tailor our approach to the client’s goals, ensuring that each brand experience feels purposeful, engaging, and worthwhile. TryTry is our newest project, combining our expertise in marketing and event planning to give high-quality Japanese lifestyle products an international platform, profile, and reach.

At Artyz, we help brands remain globally consistent while becoming locally relevant.

When entering a new market, we preserve each brand’s core essence, values, and visual identity while adapting its storytelling, cultural references, and campaign execution to the local context. This ensures that every experience feels authentic and resonates with local audiences. We have worked with more than 100 clients across five countries, and many of our client relationships have lasted for more than five years. With a team able to communicate across 14 languages and cultural contexts, we help brands enter Japan with confidence, remain true to their original identity, and secure long-term growth.

Here, creativity and people-centric marketing sit at the heart of every project. We believe that strong ideas emerge from human insight, cultural understanding, and collaboration. By placing human connection at the centre of our campaigns and events, we create fresh, memorable, and genuinely engaging experiences for audiences, clients, and partners alike.

Meet Yoko Saeki, CEO of Artyz Inc.

'Artyz was born at the intersection of two cultures with a clear mission: to build real connections. We are dedicated to building bridges, creating understanding and ensuring development. By recognizing norms, cultural nods and understanding the intricate differences, we help tailor strategies that help your business scale across borders with confidence.'

Why did you join the BCCJ?

Our reason for joining the BCCJ came from our wish to expand towards Britain. Britain and Japan have a long-standing relationship that spans hundreds of years. One can argue that relations are deepening with the economic and defensive pact signed in 2020.

As our company and operations grow, we hope to establish long-term partnerships and explore the possibility of opening offices in the UK. As relations between Japan and Britain deepen, we want to build lasting connections with British and Japanese-British organisations. We therefore joined the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan, which is directly connected to British interests in Japan, to strengthen these relationships and support efforts to deepen the bond between the two countries.

What do you hope the most to get from our time as a member?

Most importantly, we want to connect with other BCCJ members in Japan and understand what they are seeking to explore in the market. By getting to know them better, we also hope to deepen our understanding of how British norms, culture, and social behaviour shape marketing. We continually look for ways to improve ourselves and our services, so joining the BCCJ and connecting with such an established community is an excellent opportunity for us.

What makes your organisation unique in your industry or market?

Since our founding, we have taken a distinctive approach in the Japanese market. Our two founders brought together a deep understanding of Japanese culture and an international perspective. Before entering or approaching a market, Artyz works to understand its context and the people within it.  We combine the Japanese principle of thorough preparation and self-awareness with a Western spirit of exploration. This balance encourages us to seek new horizons while ensuring that we can deliver strong work for our clients. It remains a core principle of the company and reflects the vision established by our founders.

What milestones are you most proud of?

We are proud of many achievements, but the milestone that means the most to us is the growth of our international team and the range of cultures represented within it. Since 2013, we have grown from representing one continent and two countries to bringing together eight nationalities across three continents, with 14 languages spoken at a native level. Our team continues to grow, and we hope to represent every continent and an even wider range of languages and cultures in the future.

What kind of collaborations or connections are you most interested in building through the BCCJ?

We are interested in building three types of connections through the BCCJ. First, we want to help British companies adapt their marketing and brand image for Japanese consumers so that cultural meaning is not lost in translation and their products or services inspire trust and interest. Second, we hope to support Japanese companies expanding into Britain by ensuring that their marketing communicates their strengths effectively to the British market. Third, we want to work with organisations that promote Japanese-British interests and help strengthen ties between the two nations.
