BCCJ Welcomes in the New Year at 2024 Shinnenkai

Last night (January 25), the BCCJ hosted its annual New Year Party, the Shinnenkai 2024, at Palazzo Ducale Azabu in central Tokyo. 100+ guests came together to toast to the year ahead, to catch up with familiar faces and anticipate what might be in store for the business and wider community in the Year of the Dragon.

BCCJ President Richard Lyle shared a few words reflecting on the past year, most notably surrounding G7 delegate visits and an evolving Japanese business dialogue as laid out by Japanese Prime Minister Kishida earlier this month. Richard also acknowledged the situation in the Noto Peninsula and what we as a Chamber can do to continue to support.

Looking ahead, the BCCJ is looking forward to a fruitful year within the international business community in Japan and the UK, and welcome you to make this a year of action.
