BBA2026 Kansai Viewing Reception | Exclusive Offers in Honour of Our Kansai Expansion
A Wider Welcome to Kansai: The British Business Awards Beyond Tokyo
An inaugural celebration, new opportunities for membership and a growing UK–Japan business community.
For nineteen years, the British Business Awards have celebrated the people, partnerships and achievements shaping UK–Japan business, with Tokyo at the heart of the occasion.
This November, for the first time in the Awards' history, that experience will extend beyond the capital.
On Friday, 13 November 2026, the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan (BCCJ) will welcome guests to the inaugural BBA2026 Kansai Viewing Reception, hosted at Canopy by Hilton Osaka Umeda, alongside The Nineteenth Evening at Fairmont Tokyo.
This marks an important step in the Chamber's continued commitment to Kansai. As our community grows across Japan, so too does our ambition to create meaningful opportunities for businesses and professionals to connect, exchange ideas and develop lasting relationships.
We are delighted to bring a new expression of the British Business Awards to Osaka, and warmly invite the wider Kansai business community to be part of this first occasion.
An Evening to Connect, Celebrate and Discover
The Kansai Viewing Reception will bring together members, guests and friends of the Chamber for an evening of UK–Japan networking, a curated standing buffet, free-flow beverages and a live screening of the BBA2026 winner announcements, broadcast directly from Fairmont Tokyo.
To make the occasion more accessible to the wider community, we are pleased to announce new, reduced ticket prices:
- BCCJ Members: ¥8,000 | 41% OFF
- Non-Members: ¥12,000 | 27% OFF
Whether reconnecting with familiar faces or discovering the Chamber for the first time, we hope this evening offers a welcoming introduction to the opportunities within our network.

Growing Kansai, Together
Our existing members have an equally important role to play in this next chapter.
Through the BCCJ's Member Gets Member Scheme, members who successfully introduce new businesses or professionals to the Chamber can receive complimentary event seat coupons, recognising the value of the connections they help create.
As we continue to expand our presence across Kansai, we warmly encourage members to introduce colleagues, clients and contacts who may find a home within the BCCJ community.
