NPO Red Box Japan is a Japanese nonprofit organization rooted in the UK-born The Red Box Project, working to create a society where menstruation does not limit access to education, work, or participation in society.

Since its establishment in 2019, Red Box Japan has provided menstrual products to schools and educational institutions and promoted menstrual health education and awareness. By working with schools, local governments, companies, sports organizations, and communities, we aim to reduce the financial and psychological burdens associated with menstruation and create an environment where every student can learn and participate in school life with confidence.

Our activities have expanded beyond the provision of menstrual products to include menstrual health education, corporate and community partnerships, femtech and STEAM education, and the development of social infrastructure that supports women’s health and empowerment.
