About
OCC Educational Corporation is an educational institution with over 110 years of history, founded on Christian values and dedicated to developing globally minded learners. We operate a diverse range of educational institutions, including The Graduate School of Management and Education Technology, Osaka Christian College, Seiai Kindergarten, Seiai Nursery School, and Grace Kindergarten.
As part of our international expansion, we are launching Gordonstoun Japan in Wakayama Prefecture in 2027, introducing a new fully English-taught track at The Graduate School of Management and Education Technology, and establishing the Japan–UK Research Institute for Educational Innovation (JURIEI) to strengthen academic collaboration and research partnerships between Japan and the United Kingdom.
[Gordonstoun Japan]
Opening in Wakayama Prefecture in 2027, Gordonstoun Japan brings together Gordonstoun's renowned British educational philosophy with the cultural richness of Japan. Centered on challenge, service, leadership, and outdoor learning, the school nurtures resilient, compassionate, and globally minded young people. By combining Gordonstoun's core principles with Japanese values, we provide a unique educational experience that is both internationally recognized and deeply connected to its host nation.
[The Graduate School of Management and Education Technology]
The world's first fully online graduate school specializing in Education DX and Management, designed for working professionals. Authorized by Japan's Ministry of Education and operated by OCC Educational Corporation, the graduate school develops leaders who drive innovation in education through an interdisciplinary curriculum integrating education, business administration, and information technology. Students may pursue either the Master of Educational Business Administration (MEBA) or the Master of Educational Information Technology (MEIT). In 2027, the graduate school will launch a fully English-taught program to welcome students from around the world.
[The Japan–UK Research Institute for Educational Innovation (JURIEI)]
This Institute, which will be formally founded on 31 July 2026, is the affiliated Research Institute of the Graduate School of Management and Education Technology. JURIEI is being reconstituted, while progressively building upon and advancing the human networks and the accumulated record of research exchange developed under RIJUE. Its purpose is to securely integrate the University’s educational and research activities with collaborative initiatives undertaken with overseas universities and research institutions—particularly those in the United Kingdom—and thereby contribute to the promotion of international joint research, the enhancement of researcher development, and the expansion of global research networks.
