Our company, j Career Co., Ltd., was founded in 2014 and celebrated its 12th anniversary this April. We hold a license for personnel placement services from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and primarily provide placement services for global talent, including foreign nationals and bilingual Japanese individuals.

My background includes working at the Tokyo branch of James Capel (now HSBC Securities), a British-based bank, and then serving as head of industry research, head of government fund management, and managing director in charge of sales at the Japanese subsidiary of Credit Suisse, a Swiss-based bank. Following that, I worked at Deloitte, a US-based consulting firm, primarily as an advisor to foreign financial institutions. Having spent about six months studying at a language school in Cambridge, England, where I received warm welcomes from locals, I founded this company with the desire to help foreign nationals residing in Japan find employment.
