On the evening of Thursday, December 5, BCCJ Members and Guests are invited to join us for an engaging discussion on gender equity and sustainable investment within the financial sector. With businesses increasingly expected to incorporate social impact into their strategies, this conversation is more relevant than ever for BCCJ members navigating the intersection of profitability and responsibility.

Our panellists will discuss the current landscape and challenges relating to investment in women in Japan, and the benefits and opportunities that are possible when investment does happen. They will explore the 2X Global initiative, which is uniting investors around a G7 commitment to invest $20 billion in women’s economic empowerment over the next three years. They will also analyse the newly launched 2X Certification for businesses, funds and financial institutions, and how it aligns with expectations from the Japanese government, international partners, and investors.

As gender finance and sustainable investment gain traction, this is a critical moment for businesses to understand how these trends can drive both growth and positive change. Join us to learn how you can stay ahead in this evolving landscape.
