The day after the budget, the first from this government, our Public Law & Policy team will highlight some of the takeaways for post-Brexit Britain, business and transactions.

Our Litigation colleagues will then take a more in-depth view of Brexit’s impact on disputes, including governing law, enforcement of judgments, and a practical approach to drafting disputes clauses.

 

Webinar 6: Brexit here & there: UK/EU negotiations update and the future of data protection law

Wednesday, 25 March, 15:30-16:30 (GMT)

With trade negotiations between the UK and EU kicking off on 3 March, our International Trade team will look at how both sides have begun and what the latest reports indicate for business.

Our Privacy and Cybersecurity team will then consider the future of the UK legal framework for data protection and its potential impact on international data flows, adequacy for transfers from the EU and the role of the UK Information Commissioner’s Office in the context of the ‘One stop Shop’ and Binding Corporate Rules approvals.
