RGF Executive Search Crowned Trivia Champions at BCCJ Pub Quiz

Yesterday evening (September 26, 2024), the BCCJ hosted its fiercely contested pub quiz. For 1 night, even the most mild-mannered accountants transformed into trivia gladiators all with the hopes of winning grand prizes including cheeses, wines and some very necessary British perfumes and fitness vouchers, genourously donated by AP Advisers, Astris Advisory, Hobgoblin Pubs and Ellie Takahashi.

We would like to thank our pub quizzing fortress, Hobgoblin Roppongi for taking the gutsy decision to allow us in, and also our fearless quizmaster, Nick Rees who had the biggest challenge out of any of us, making sense of the grease and beer-stained answer sheets. If there was a quiz round for what each team had for dinner, we would score full marks.

Onto the fun part… the winners! EY Japan had taken the top spot at the previous 3 BCCJ pub quizzes and therefore had the target firmly on their back. But this year, in a shock to the system, we can to announce a new champion in RGF Executive Search. Congratulations! In 2nd place, for the 2nd year running, a valiant attempt by team Intralink.

We would once again like to thank everyone who joined. Thanks to your participation, 68,000JPY was raised which will be heading up to the Noto Peninsula to support community-led restoration projects.
