Yousef Berouche joins the BCCJ Team as Events Coordinator

The BCCJ is happy to welcome Yousef Berouche as the newest team member! Yousef has joined us as BCCJ Events Coordinator, working closely with the team to create exceptional experiences for all of our members.

As Events Coordinator, Yousef will collaborate with vendors, members, and sponsors to produce and execute a diverse range of events. He will focus on delivering events that are targeted, tailored and informed in-line with the BCCJ’s objectives, hoping to further connect, and strengthen relationships between Japanese and UK companies.

Yousef holds a degree in Graphic Design and Communications from Arts University Bournemouth. Following his studies, he worked as a Communications Specialist for an International Development agency where he developed and delivered content for a global audience of NGOs and UN agencies. Most recently a former JET Programme participant, Yousef spent the past three years as an English language teacher in Kumamoto Prefecture, alongside this role, Yousef built a multinational language learning and cultural exchange community through the creation and planning of events that fostered connections between Japanese and foreign residents. 

His combination of event planning, design, communications, international relations experience and knowledge of Japan is a valuable addition to the BCCJ team.

I look forward to working closely with the team to deliver outstanding and engaging events for all BCCJ members. I strongly believe in cultivating robust partnerships between countries, in particular between the UK and Japan. With the 2025 World Expo taking place in Osaka next year, I am eager to maximise on business opportunities for our members and help put this belief into action through the BCCJ.
