New Members
We are delighted to welcome Guy Perryman as the newest Entrepreneur member of the BCCJ.
Guy is a DJ, events producer and promoter, voice over artist and MC.
Posted to Tokyo in 1990 as chief DJ for the launch of Virgin Megastores Japan, Guy soon became a prominent personality in the Tokyo entertainment and media scene, creating club events around the city. By 1997 he was made DJ and Programming Manager of over 30 stores and established Virgin Mega Station, the nationwide cable radio network.
Since 2001 Guy has become one of Tokyo’s most prominent interviewers, hosting a range of stars including Sting, Coldplay, Gwen Stefani, Nile Rogers, Underworld, Chemical Brothers, Sir Paul Smith, Jimmy Choo, Sir Richard Branson and many more. Guy’s programs are broadcast annually from Fuji Rock and Summer Sonic music festivals, and he most recently hosted the Brit Awards 2012 Special from Japan.
Guy’s voice can be heard on an array of TV and radio commercials, product videos, animations & computer games for clients including Burberry, Sony, Honda, Suzuki, Panasonic, Sega, Konami, Zima and many more. Has also produced radio programs for broadcast in the UK, Hong Kong and Australia, and in-flight programs include Virgin Atlantic Airways and JAL.
