We are delighted to welcome FEW (For Empowering Women) as the newest Entrepreneur member of the BCCJ!

Founded in 1981 by two foreign female entrepreneurs, FEW offers its 200-strong membership a variety of professional and social networking opportunities. With two chapters – in Tokyo and Osaka – members include a broad cross section of professionals – from marketers, journalists, entertainment specialists, attorneys and bankers to freelance photographers, translators, and entrepreneurs working across a variety of industries. FEW also welcomes members at the start of their careers such as students and interns. Since September 2008, membership has been open to English-speaking Japanese nationals.

Throughout the course of the year, FEW runs a comprehensive program of events that are inspiring, practical, useful and fun. At these events, members can share experiences, explore job opportunities and engage in mentoring. FEW events focus on three main areas:

  • Monthly Meetings
  • Special Events
  • Community Services

BCCJ members can find more details about this new member in the BCCJ online Membership Directory. Please note that you must be logged into the BCCJ website before being able to view the full content.
