Welcome: Andaz Tokyo

We are delighted to welcome Andaz Tokyo as the newest Corporate member of the BCCJ!

Andaz Tokyo, Tokyo’s first lifestyle boutique hotel and the 12^th hotel of the Andaz brand by Hyatt, will open in Toranomon – a key business and embassy district located between the Imperial Palace and Tokyo Tower – in summer 2014.

“Andaz” means “personal style” in Hindi, representing a new philosophy of service in a sophisticated yet simple style. The hotel will be housed on the top 47 to 52 floors in Toranomon Hills – a new “vertical garden city” with retail shops, restaurants, residents and offices. With easy access to Ginza for shopping, Marunouchi, the financial district, and the business and entertainment areas of Shinbashi, Akasaka, and Roppongi, Andaz Tokyo is centrally located to accommodate business and leisure travelers alike.

This new venue will offer 164 rooms, of which eight are speciality suites. Wi-Fi, local calls, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages are complimentary for all registered guests. From the tower’s apex on the 52nd floor, Andaz brings rooftop flair to the city’s dining and entertainment scene, with spectacular views from an open-air penthouse bar and the Andaz Studio, an event space with open kitchen and outside terrace. The top 52^nd floor will also feature a stand-alone chapel, again offering breathtaking views of Tokyo for weddings. Andaz Tokyo will have a Spa and Fitness facility on the 37th floor with a unique 20 metre pool overlooking the Imperial Palace.

Additionally, Andaz adds to Toranomon’s dining allure with a pastry shop and tavern at street level, and an all-day dining restaurant on the 51st floor. Reflecting the brand’s market-to-table philosophy, the restaurant will feature an International and Japanese grill concept, with focus placed always on the season. Andaz will host “Andaz Salons” series of events throughout the year, bringing experts and artists together in an educational and inspirational atmosphere to share new ideas among creative individuals.
