The British Embassy Tokyo Diversity Committee, together with BCCJ, is organising a booth at this year’s Tokyo Rainbow Pride – Tokyo’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual event – on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th May at Yoyogi Park with 60,000 people expected to take part.
The campaign theme for this year is Love is GREAT! Join us to promote the UK as an attractive and welcoming tourist destination, and to show that leading companies – and government departments – take an enlightened approach to diversity.

Contact the BCCJ team at [email protected] to pledge your support.
The BCCJ is committed to advancing Diversity and Inclusion (D&I), and this runs through everything we do.
D&I is embedded in our governance and operations:
– Recruitment of people
– Elections for our Executive Committee (Excom)
– Nominees and Judges for the British Business Awards (BBA)
– Supplier diversity
Since April 2012, we have been running D&I programme designed to promote greater understanding of, and develop support mechanisms for, the growth of diverse groups in the workplace in Japan, including:
— Women
— People with Disabilities
— LGBTQ community
— Generation Y / “Millennials”
We believe diversity to be vital for the future growth and sustainability of the Japanese and global economy.
