BCCJ Excom Nominations NOW CLOSED

Since March 13, we have been receiving nominations for Executive Committee (Excom) posts in Chamber year 2014-15.

We are now pleased to announce that by the nomination deadline (March 26 1700) we had received a record 27 nominations that met constitutional guidelines.

Under our constitution, the Executive Committee is run by a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 15 individuals.

At this year’s AGM on April 25, there will therefore be a total of 27 qualified and approved candidates competing for Excom seats, creating THE most competitive election in our 65 year history.

This means that BCCJ members with voting rights will be asked to vote in a contested election, which will run from April 9-21.
