2022 marks the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

This historic occasion will be celebrated throughout the UK and around the world in a year-long campaign, as communities come together to celebrate The Queen’s 70 years of service.

Jubilee celebrations began on February 6 this year, the date in 1952 when The Queen became monarch after the death of her father, King George VI.

The Queen is the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee.
