How has the BCCJ performed over the past 12 months? What value have we delivered for you and our 200+ member companies? And who will be elected to lead the Chamber through this next year – a truly exciting time for UK-Japan relations?
We warmly encourage all BCCJ members to attend our Annual General Meeting (AGM) taking place from 18:30 on April 27 (Monday) 2020.
The evening’s formal agenda includes:
- receipt of the Chairman’s Annual Report
- receipt of the Statement of Accounts
- election of Executive Committee**
- election of President
- appointment of Certified Public Accountants
The formal part of the AGM will be followed by a cocktail party and buffet for all attendees, compliments of the BCCJ.
Kindly note that the AGM is a members-only event.
**Timeline for BCCJ 2020-21 Executive Committee Election**
Feb 14 – NOMINATE!
Excom nomination period begins
BCCJ office accepts by email completed Excom nomination forms, including candidate pledges.
(Excom nomination forms will be available online on Feb 14!)
Deadline for submission of Excom nomination papers is 17:00 on March 27.

April 03 – VOTE!
Excom election period begins
BCCJ nominated representatives can vote for the BCCJ 2020-21 Executive Committee via an online poll, by post or by proxy.
Voting deadline is 17:00 on April 20.
April 27 – ATTEND!
Annual General Meeting
BCCJ 2020-2021 Excom to be announced.
